Whilst we are always happy to hear from you, it is our policy not to accept or consider creative materials, ideas or suggestions other than those we specifically request. Terms and Conditions for Pet Social Application

1. Introduction Welcome to Pet Social (the “App”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a social platform created for pet owners to share photos, videos, stories, care tips, and build connections in a safe, positive, and animal-loving community dedicated to responsible pet ownership and welfare.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms incorporate our Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and any other linked policies.
Pet Social complies with applicable UK laws, including the Online Safety Act 2023 and the amendments to the Crime and Policing Bill (announced February 2026) requiring removal of non-consensual intimate images within 48 hours of valid reports.
2. Eligibility You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Pet Social. Users under 18 need parental or guardian consent. We recommend users be 18+ for full participation. Accounts are intended for individual pet owners; commercial, business, or brand accounts require our prior written approval.
3. User Accounts You must keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate information about yourself and your pets. You are fully responsible for all activity under your account. Impersonation of any person, pet, brand, or entity is prohibited.
4. User-Generated Content You retain ownership of your content, but by posting, you grant Pet Social a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to host, display, reproduce, modify (for technical formatting), and distribute it on the App and in promotions related to the App.
5. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Content Pet Social is a welcoming space to celebrate pets and responsible ownership. We strictly prohibit content or conduct that harms people, animals, or the community. The following are not allowed:
Non-Consensual Intimate Images (Aligned with UK Law – February 2026 Amendment) We prohibit sharing intimate, private, or sexual images/videos of any person without their explicit, informed consent. This includes real photos/videos, AI-generated/deepfake/manipulated content, or any purported intimate imagery.
If flagged by the affected person (or their authorised representative), we will:

6. Reporting & Enforcement Report violations using the in-app “Report” feature or email [email protected]. Our moderation team (human-reviewed with AI assistance) handles reports promptly, especially for animal welfare, safety, or non-consensual intimate image issues.

Decisions are final, but you may appeal within 7 days via support.
7. Safety & Moderation We use proactive moderation tools to detect violations. While we strive for a safe environment, we cannot guarantee complete prevention. Users are responsible for their interactions.
8. Intellectual Property Post only content you own or have rights/permission to use. We respect copyright/trademarks and process valid takedown requests under UK/international law.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability The App is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for user content, losses from use, or interactions with others/pets.
10. Termination We may suspend or terminate accounts for any breach, with or without notice. You can delete your account anytime in settings.
11. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
